Dr. Ferrandez was fantastic!
I flew from Ontario, Canada, to have i-fuse surgery by Dr. Ferrandez. The surgery is not offered in Canada and after e-mailing with the surgeon, I decided it was my best option at an improved physical life. The surgery was a success and has alleviated much of my pain in my right SI joint. The hospital in Elche was impressive, very clean, and modern. I have remained in contact with Dr. Ferrandez since surgery and I can’t say enough about him. Very personable, caring, and a great surgeon. If required in the future, I will not hesitate to fly back to Spain to have the same surgery on my left side.

Hello my name is Ariel
Hello my name is Ariel Llerena. I am a 22 year old man from the United States. I love playing sports. I stopped playing sports because I injured my back in the gym doing deadlifts and it caused severe pain. The pain got better but not to where I was pain free and could play sports again which is what I wanted. I ended up getting a microdiscectomy over a year ago which did not give me enough relief. I kept doing research and consulted with doctors and I decided that I should get a disc replacement. I needed an affordable yet experienced doctor in this type of surgery. I found out about Dr. Diego Ferrandez and he was just that. Affordable and very knowledgable and a doctor I can trust. I contacted him and he was very fast to respond. I decided that I want to go through with the surgery so I flew to Spain and got a 1 level disc replacement at L5-S1 on October 19th, 2018 and it was successful. Hospital IMED Elche was very clean and had great staff. Dr. Diego Ferrandez did a great job. The first month was rough but now I’m I feel really great. I still have some rehab to do but I feel like I can finally get back to playing sports again. Thank you to Dr. Diego Ferrandez and his whole team. This has been a great experience so far. I am excited to see what the future brings. Thank you

I was diagnosed as having a swollen ligament pressing on my sciatic nerve and had an operation to relieve the pressure on 27th August 2013. Now I am completely relieved of pain and can wholeheartedly recommend the services of the hospital and the medical staff.
